Charcoal / Dextran stripping reduces the concentration of steroid hormones in serum such as estradiol, progesterone, cortisol, testosterone, T3 and T4. This serum is usefull where there endogenous molecules may interfere with experimental works. This serum may show some reduced growth promotion ability for cells requiring the presence of certain hormones.
活性炭FBS在體外各種體系用于激素影響的研究。包括類固醇受體連接，細胞受體類固醇調(diào)節(jié)，各種組織的激素分泌和甲狀腺激素功能。生產(chǎn)程序包括使用碳和右旋糖苷從FBS中去除激素如:estradiol, progesterone, cortisol, testosterone, T3 and T4.
